Highlights of the Collection

Looking Closely at works in the State Art Collection

Looking Closely sheets are located around the Gallery with the aim of making art more accessible. The A3 laminated sheets are designed to give information in relation to particular artists and artworks on display. Some identify particular art practices or give an historical insight into the period the work was made in. They are a popular resource for students and general visitors alike. Due to popular demand, the suite of sheets are now being provided in downloadable pdf format. The list will be added to as new sheets are produced.
