Picasso to Warhol: fourteen modern mastersDate: Friday 9 March 2012 FULL Time: 4 - 6pm (presentation commences 4.30pm) Second Date Released Date: Friday 16 March 2012 Time: 4 - 6pm (presentation commences 4.30pm) Join us for an exclusive afternoon of complimentary wine, cheese and conversation about our exciting collaboration with New York's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and the world-class launch exhibition Picasso to Warhol: Fourteen Modern Masters.
Find out how a guided tour of Picasso to Warhol and a practical art workshop can link in with the visual arts syllabus. The Gallery’s Education Staff will present our new Picasso to Warhol Education Resources. These are complete sets of practical visual arts project plans for K to 12 that centre on a visit to this exciting exhibition, and comprise: Early Childhood Shapes & Faces Modern Masterpieces Middle Childhood Machine People Collage Room for a Friend Early Adolescence My Modern Life Collage Birds, Wings, Flying Things Late Adolescence Difference in the Urban Environment Homage to De Chirico Face Up Techno-romance These new FREE Education Resources will be available to you at the event.
