Time: 4 - 6pm (presentation commences 4.30pm)

Second Date Released

Date: Friday 16 March 2012

Time: 4 - 6pm (presentation commences 4.30pm)

Join us for an exclusive afternoon of complimentary wine, cheese and conversation about our exciting collaboration with New York's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), and the world-class launch exhibition Picasso to Warhol: Fourteen Modern Masters.

Hear first hand from AGWA Director, Stefano Carboni, about some of the world-famous works from Picasso, Mondrian, Matisse, Pollock, Warhol and others making their way exclusively to Perth, and details of the exciting program of school events and activities planned for this exhibition – a must visit experience for all students from K-12.

Everyone who attends this event will go into the draw to win a season pass to the exhibition for themselves, and an exhibition catalogue will be given to the school with the most number of attendees. Class bookings will be taken on the night, and all teachers who attend the Preview and book a class visit before 5 April will receive a complimentary ticket to the exhibition.

Find out how a guided tour of Picasso to Warhol and a practical art workshop can link in with the visual arts syllabus.

The Gallery’s Education Staff will present our new Picasso to Warhol Education Resources. These are complete sets of practical visual arts project plans for K to 12 that centre on a visit to this exciting exhibition, and comprise:
