The final section, Your Collection 1980 – today completes the Gallery’s chronological displays. Presenting a varied array of abstract and figurative painting, sculpture, video and design, we encounter practices shaped by the impact of instantaneous global communication, postmodernism, changing political orders, and environ-mental politics. The works emerge from a dynamic and diverse background, and exemplify this period’s eclecticism as artists use their art to engage with with local and global issues and aesthetics.
