31 October - 11 December 2016 | FREE

The City of Perth in partnership with the Perth Public Art Foundation (PPAF) is bringing the world’s biggest public art event, Cow Parade, to Perth. 40 life-sized fibreglass cow sculptures will be transformed by some of WA’s most exciting artists and fashion designers.

The cows will be exhibited for six weeks from 31 October to 11 December 2016 throughout the City’s malls, parks, iconic buildings and precincts, with some auctioned at the 2016 Lexus Ball for Telethon, which raises money to support child health research. After the exhibition, the sculptures will be auctioned off and the proceeds donated to charity. It is estimated that over $30 million has been raised through CowParade auctions throughout the world to support local charity groups.

CowParade events have previously been staged in major world cities such as New York, London, Tokyo, Brussels, Dublin, Prague, San Paolo, Hong Kong and Istanbul, with involvement from celebrated designers and luminaries including Kate Spade, Vivienne Westwood, Radiohead, David Lynch and Christian Lacroix

The list of the participating artists and designers and their locations can be viewed here.
