The Art Gallery of Western Australia is fortunate to have significant support from the public, corporate and private sectors. It is this support that makes possible the many and varied services that the Gallery is able to provide to the community.

One of the first works ever acquired by the Art Gallery of Western Australia was by a cutting-edge, contemporary Australian artist. His name was Frederick McCubbin. Sadly, today's McCubbin's - the important contemporary artists of our era - are increasingly out of reach for the State Gallery, even at the beginning of their careers. But your support today can ensure that the Gallery can build a world-renowned collection that will be the pride and inspiration for today's and future generations.

Foundation

Since its formation in 1989, the Art Gallery of Western Australia Foundation has been the philanthropic arm of the Gallery. The key role of the Foundation is to raise funds and encourage donations to assist the Gallery in acquiring works of art.
