Pure Imagination | AGWA Foundation Gala

Pure Imagination | AGWA Foundation Gala

The Art Gallery of Western Australia is excited to present a premier event on the social calendar for 2022 – celebrating and supporting women in the arts.

Join AGWA Board Chairman Janet Holmes à Court, Foundation Chair Paul Chamberlain and Director Colin Walker for a night of pure imagination as we celebrate and support women in the arts at AGWA's Foundation Gala 2022.

Experience the extraordinary chocolate art of award-winning chef and artist Janice Wong in an evening at the Gallery immersed in otherworldly landscapes. Walk through a tunnel of edible chocolate creations where surprising musical interludes await on the other side, accompanied by a superb three-course dinner with matching premium wines.

Janice Wong is the two-time consecutive winner of "Asia’s Best Pastry Chef” award. Her creative and unconventional artworks play with a multitude of colours, textures and flavours. With popular dessert bars and restaurants in Singapore, she is also known for her remarkable and edible large-scale art installations in interactive exhibitions throughout the world. Masterchef fans will know of her incredible creations from earlier seasons of the show.

All funds raised throughout this signature event will support, promote and advocate for Australian women artists with $500 from each ticket a tax-deductible donation to the AGWA Foundation.
