Uniquely Australian Guided Tours

Uniquely Australian Guided Tours

Is there an Australian identity? What has formed it? How has it changed over time?

Through looking at both Indigenous and non-Indigenous art, this tour examines what it means to be Australian through its art and through the influence the unique Australian landscape has had on both the artist and the people.

There is nothing like a personal interaction to spark the imagination. Whether you’re a seasoned artistic traveller or apprentice explorer, our Voluntary Gallery Guides, offer that extra insight and revealing glimpse into the artwork, the era and the artist.

We are revitalising the Gallery spaces. Over the coming months some of our gallery spaces will be closed. The format and scope of content for some of AGWA’s guided tours will therefore be adapted to suit these changes. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding during this time. Please ask our team at the front desk for more information.
