Areas of support
We invite you to direct your tax-deductible annual donation to the area that is the most important to you.
Acquisitions
Enable AGWA to develop and preserve Western Australia’s State Art Collection. AGWA’s collection is continually developing with new acquisitions and commissions, offering insight into who we are today and who we aspire to be. Your contribution will also strengthen underrepresented areas within the AGWA Collection and enable us to commission new works by contemporary artists.
Donations of works of art can be made to the AGWA Collection. Please contact AGWA’s Foundation team for more information.
Gifts of works of art accepted by the Gallery are also tax-deductible under the Federal Government’s Cultural Gifts Program.
Learning, Social Impact and Public Programs
Support AGWA to deliver programs that aim to break down barriers, create inclusive communities and cultivate the next generation of creative thinkers. Audience engagement at AGWA and online plays an essential role in deepening and broadening our visitor’s experiences, both within the Gallery and beyond.
Exhibition Development
Support all aspects of an exhibition at AGWA, from artwork logistics, new commissions, accompanying publications, public programs and access initiatives. AGWA brings works of art from around Australia and the world, showcasing defining artists, periods, and collections, drawing on the rich diversity of artists to inspire the community of Western Australia.
The Robert and Eugenie Bell Decorative Arts and Design Fund
The Robert and Eugenie Bell Decorative Arts and Design Fund has been established through the AGWA Foundation to help grow AGWA’s collection of decorative arts, craft and design. The Fund honours the remarkable legacy of the late Dr Robert Bell AM, AGWA’s inaugural Curator of Crafts and Design (1978–2000), and his wife, Dr Eugenie Keefer Bell LFRAIA.
Publications
Create a legacy in written form through books, essays, and accessible publications. Authored by significant arts writers and academics, publications allow for the dissemination of arts thinking and scholarly conversation, throughout Australia and the rest of the world.
Wherever the need is greatest
Make an immediate impact at AGWA by donating to the greatest need. Your gift may be directed towards proposed exhibitions and displays, specifically addressing an area of interest identified in AGWA’s strategic directions, or allow vital operational needs to be met, safeguarding AGWA for future generations.
