As an extension of the AGWA Foundation Stimulus Package, the Emerging Artist Acquisition Appeal has been implemented specifically to help us all play a role in contributing to the careers of emerging artists not yet represented in the Collection.
This is a program that will ensure the next generation of artists are not forgotten. Never has their future been more important and uncertain. Right now, the actions we take today will define the history we write tomorrow. By participating in this new program, you are helping to ensure that the works of exciting emerging artists will be added to the pages of WA’s art history tomorrow.
Your tax-deductible donation to our Emerging Artist Acquisition Appeal will go directly to purchasing works from these artists. We expect that some of the most defining art will emerge from these times. And importantly, you can help ensure that it does. To get started, simply click the DONATE button above, and together, let’s make some new art history!
We remind ourselves that today’s renowned artists were all at one point, emerging artists themselves. To see how our Foundation donors have been able to impact the careers of previous emerging artists, watch the videos above.
