Exquisite Bodies on the road

Through a unique partnership between ART ON THE MOVE, The Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA), Healthway, The Fitz gallery, Rave About Arts, and Shire of Carnarvon Exquisite Bodies will tour to two locations across 2025-26 for a period of up to 6 months.

The pilot will focus on supporting capacity building, meaningful engagement, arts learning, and wellbeing across these communities. The regional tour of Exquisite Bodies represents the first time AGWA’s innovative Gallery 09 approach, which emphasises hands-on participation, practices of care, creative dialogue, and artist-led learning, has been piloted outside Perth.

On the ground, Exquisite Bodies is facilitated by local Teaching Artists who develop their practice through on-the-job learning, interactive workshops, research and reflective processes drawn from AGWA’s Gallery 09 methodology.
