The Year 12 Perspectives 2013 Santos People’s Choice Award was awarded to Jessie Lee whose work Khmer Grandmother was voted the most popular by Gallery audiences. Jessie attended John XXIII College. As part of her prize her school will also receive 30 tickets to visit the exhibition Richard Avedon: People, opening at the Art Gallery of WA on 2 August. One lucky voter also won a $150 AGWA Shop voucher and tickets to Richard Avedon: People simply for casting their vote in this year’s People’s Choice Award.
