Why join?
Join AGWA’s Next Collective to immerse yourself in art and culture, connect with Gallery staff, artists and fellow supporters, and play an active role in shaping the future of Western Australia’s State Art Collection.
As a Next Collective donor, you’ll enjoy a year-round program of exclusive Next Collective events, alongside invitations to select AGWA Foundation and Gallery events, including exhibition previews and openings.
‘Next Up’ Pitch Night
Toward the end of each year, Next Collective donors are invited to an exclusive evening with the AGWA Director and senior curators, alongside emerging and mid-career artists and fellow art lovers.
The evening offers a rare behind-the-scenes opportunity to hear AGWA curators make the case for a series of artworks they believe should enter the State Art Collection. Donors then have the unique opportunity to collectively vote on their preferred work, directly shaping the future of the Collection.
Supporting AGWA, the State Art Gallery, and the important cultural role it plays in WA aligns with my personal values of supporting the arts and its vital contribution to societal health and wellbeing. In addition, the opportunities for connection, contribution, networking, and behind-the-scenes art experiences that being a Next Collective member offers, have been priceless.
