AMP CAPITAL ART BALL 2017

AMP CAPITAL ART BALL 2017

Presented by VOGUE Australia in support of the AGWA Foundation.

Get your couture and kicks on for this art extravaganza!

Following the epic sold-out success of the inaugural event, the AMP Capital ART BALL makes a dazzling return on 20 May 2017.

Weave your way through the Art Gallery of Western Australia to discover a place where the worlds of art, fashion and music collide to create a high-end spectacle that was voted by The West Australian as one of the Top Ten Events of 2016.

The evening’s stellar line-up includes 80’s inspired pop juggernaut CLIENT LIAISON, with 2016 ARIA award-winning ‘Best Break through Artist’ MONTAIGNE, Papua New Guinea-born future-soul singer NGAIIRE and local hip-hop artist MATHAS.

Fashion bible VOGUE Australia is once again co-presenting this exclusive event in support of the AGWA Foundation. See things differently with interactive installations including a virtual reality display, nude life drawing and live tattoo art taking place throughout the State Art Collection. Be wowed by the WA Symphony Orchestra Chorus, break dance showdown or special aerial performance by Thom Worrell from boylesque group BRIEFS; or relax in the exclusive Artist’s Lounge after you’ve explored AGWA’s celebrated international and local exhibitions.

The evening’s theme will be centred around AGWA’s international exhibition The Rise of Sneaker Culture showcasing the sneaker’s complex and fascinating history.

Premium food and beverages will be flowing for the entire night, including canapes by Heyder and Shears, and exquisite beverages from Champagne Janisson & Fils, Gage Roads Brewing Co and Juniper Estate Wines.

Pull out all the stops and dress to impress as you walk the red carpet in your best kicks into this exclusive Avant Garde, black tie event.
