Creative Encounters: Art and Dementia

Creative Encounters: Art and Dementia

Creative Encounters: Art and Dementia programs offer engaging and creative experiences for people living with dementia together with their care partners.

The Creative Encounters sessions have been specifically designed for participants to attend as a duo with engaging art experiences and social support offered for both.

Our aim is to provide creative opportunities for critical thinking, arts learning, cognitive engagement, emotional wellbeing, social interaction and participant-caregiver support.

The fortnightly sessions, facilitated by non-for-profit association Mind the Change Inc. have been developed to engage participants in art making studio experiences and interactive gallery tours.

Cost*
$30 per couple for 1 x workshop and 1 x tour.
Participants have the option to pay $30 monthly or pay upfront for the full semester.

This fee enables delivery of a quality program, well-trained staff and finest art materials.
Registrations are required to attend these events.
Sessions run from approximately 10-11.30am.
