There is nothing like a personal interaction to spark the imagination. AGWA Gallery Guides bring the AGWA collection to life with their insights into the work, era and artist in this dedicated exhibition guided tour.
In this tour, explore contrasts between figurative art in The Antipodean Manifesto and abstract works in State of Abstraction. Spanning the second half of the twentieth century to the present day, these exhibitions present key works from The State Art Collection, from paintings, drawings, prints and ceramics by the seven artists who formed the Antipodean group in 1959, to State of Abstraction’s broad showcase of Western Australian artists and makers.
