Freedom: Many voices, many stories
To celebrate Brazil’s Independence Day, we invite you to join a special tour in Portuguese exploring a theme that transcends time, place and culture: freedom.
Throughout the tour, we will discover how artists from different backgrounds, eras and lived experiences have expressed ideas of freedom through their work. Some responded to conflict, injustice and oppression. Others explored freedom through identity, imagination, self-expression, or by challenging artistic conventions and expectations.
Separated by centuries and continents, these artists are nevertheless part of the same human conversation: the search for freedom and the desire to define it on one’s own terms.
Join us for a journey of discovery, connection and reflection as we explore the many ways artists have given form to one of humanity’s.
