Four years in the making, Revivification delivers a historic first: the in-vitro (external) ‘brain’ of deceased composer Alvin Lucier creates live performances through biological technology. Developed by the Revivification team, the project allows Lucier’s artistic essence to be immortalised.
The exhibition combines the worlds of both art and science to question consciousness, intelligence, life and death like no other art exhibition ever before.
