CELEBRATE THE OPENING OF BILLIONS OF PEOPLE ARE WEARING T-SHIRTS RIGHT NOW AND TAKE PART IN A SUITE OF EVENTS PRESENTED BY PROPEL YOUTH ARTS WA AS PART OF THE KICKSTART FESTIVAL.
T-shirt Screenprinting Workshop
11-11:45am and 12-12:45pm, Sat 18 Apr | FREE, bookings required
Suitable for ages 12-26 | AGWA Learning Studio
A hands-on workshop where you get to create and take home your very own screenprinted T-shirt.

You’ll receive a blank white T-shirt and Aisyah Aaquil Sumito will guide you through the basic techniques of screenprinting, using professional equipment. This is an introductory workshop and screens used will be pre-exposed for convenience.

A discussion on strategies for handling periods of stress, the importance of self-care, ways to stay mentally healthy, and resources available for supporting mental health.

Let’s break down the big words in the conversation on mental health and illness. This workshop aims to give young people, especially emerging artists, the skills and understanding to navigate a career of irregular hours, irregular sleep, perfectionism, and constant scrutiny from all angles. Building greater awareness can help to identify and support those in need.
