2023 AGWA Foundation Annual Appeal

AGWA Foundation Annual Appeal: Help digitise your State Art Collection

Your State Art Collection, comprising more than 18,500 works, has grown into one of the finest public art collections in Australia. Like many art museums around the world, AGWA can only display a fraction of its holdings at any one time.

We are proud to announce an exciting development in our mission to make the State Art Collection accessible for all, anytime, anywhere.

Digitising the State Art Collection

Fully digitising the Collection and making it available online is a tremendously ambitious undertaking. Spearheaded by an anonymous American philanthropist with an incredibly generous major gift, we seek to raise additional funds to fully realise this transformative project.

We need your help to unlock the entire State Art Collection and make it available to generations of art lovers everywhere.

Your contribution, big or small, is vital to our success and ensures that everyone, including those in Australia’s regional and remote areas, has the opportunity to discover, experience and enjoy art.

Donations of $2 and above are tax-deductible. Gifts of $250 and above will be acknowledged on AGWA's website, in AGWA’s Annual Report, AGWA Foundation’s Impact Report, and on the Gallery Foyer honour board.
