Everyone has a history Guided Tours

There’s nothing like a personal interaction to spark the imagination.

The telling and sharing of stories through both verbal and visual means is an essential part of the development and maintenance of the many cultures of our world. Read and interpret art works as unfolding stories and how artists follow a narrative tradition by exploring a selection of works from Your State Art Collection.

Plain Speak launches a new annual series at AGWA, Everyone has a history, presenting compelling personal stories told through art. Exclusive to PIAF, the inaugural show puts Indigenous artists in the spotlight. Featuring 50 powerfully personal works, presented through a range of media; including video work, paintings, photography, sculpture and textiles.
