Join acclaimed Noongar performer and community leader Olman Walley for this workshop, where he will introduce you to Noongar history, contemporary contexts and insight into positive ways of engaging with Noongar arts and culture.

Olman Walley is the owner and Director of Boorloo, a small, family-owned company based in the Perth metropolitan area. Created in 2018 by Olman and Sharna Walley, it offers cultural experiences in three key areas: performance, education and tourism. They aim to provide a deeper understanding of Noongar culture to all participants and clients.

About the artist

Olman Walley
My name is Olman Walley and I am a Wilman, Balardong, Binjareb, Wadjuk Nyoongar. I was raised in the Wilman (Wheatbelt) region and was taught Noongar culture by my family and elders. My Nyoongar name is Chitty Chitty (Willy Wagtail) and I love to share our stories, history, music, dance and knowledge of our wonderful ancient culture.

On Saturday 27 August, the Gallery is open 10am-3pm only as we prepare for the AGWA Foundation Gala supporting women in the arts. Some exhibition access will be disrupted with two Tracks We Share ground floor galleries closed. AGWA Rooftop bar will be closed, reopening at 2pm Sunday. Details
