A selection from the State Art Collection
This group of works includes comics, painting, photography, sculpture, craft and design from some of Australia’s and the world’s most compelling artists.
Chosen by AGWA’s director and curators, the display offers personal insights into the diverse interests of the curatorial team and the intimate connections they have with the works in the Gallery’s care.
Although they may appear unrelated when together in one space, these works reveal the broad artistic investigations that characterise the wide range of artists represented in The State Art Collection.
