Follow your curiosity, play games of chance, explore unexpected combinations of shape and colour, respond to sounds and feelings, and create a treasured work of art from recycled materials to take home with you!
That Seventies Feeling showcases some of the Gallery’s best works from the decade that saw the opening of AGWA’s much longed-for new Gallery. Full of surprises and rarely seen works, the exhibition examines a transformative decade for Western Australia, the Gallery and the world at large.
This workshop is suitable for 8-12 year olds.
Guardians are not required to attend the workshop. We invite you to be part of the introduction in the Gallery space (approx. 10 mins) Once we leave for the Education Studio, you can continue wandering through the exhibitions throughout the Gallery, visit the AGWA Shop and FRANK Café. Please meet in the AGWA Concourse at 11.45am to collect your child.
