Photography | Saul Frank, Camera Electronics

Our next guest is Saul Frank co-owner of Camera Electronic, where Heath Ledger purchased a number of cameras. Founded by Saul’s father, Ron, in the early 1960s as a camera-repair shop, the business expanded quickly into retail and sales. It is now one of Perth’s most comprehensive camera and accessories store. Saul will discuss the range of cameras Heath owned, and by using a photograph taken by Heath will also explore how he developed his photographic style. He will also give a very brief overview of the history of photography and cameras, in particular focusing on two of Heath’s favourite cameras Rollei and Leica, the manufacturer who made the first 35mm camera.
